Facing It Together

Dear friends,

If you are reading this, it means that we are one step closer in achieving our aim to promote awareness for facially-disfigured people among the UH community. It is our pleasure to welcome you to our blog, which will serve as the main information hub throughout our campaign Let’s Face It Herts; in support of Let’s Face It, a charity for facial disfigurement.


Let's Face It (LFI) is a support network for people suffering from facial disfigurement, their families, friends, and professionals. It provides assistance for people with facial disfigurement through sharing of experiences, struggles and hopes in order to help them build confidence and courage. LFI also provides education to medical, nursing, health professionals concerning the needs of facial disfigurement survivors.


Facial disfigurement can affect anyone. Besides from birth, it can result from diseases and accidents. Facial disfigurement is not easily accepted by society, and we hope to help generate awareness and eliminate the stigma related to facial disfigurement, starting from the UH community. Throughout the campaign, we will be holding various activities in support of LFI’s cause.
